Language Corner Director, Anne Bitton, studied French with German at The University of Leicester, graduating with a high 2:1 in 1987. She specialised in Mediaeval French Literature and Linguistics, completing a dissertation relating to her stay in Alsace, eastern France.

After twenty years teaching and middle-management experience in the Modern Foreign Languages department of a Derby secondary school, The French Corner was formed in 2008.

This quickly developed into The Language Corner Limited and has gone from strength to strength.

The Language Corner Limited is based in Derby and is able to provide language services to businesses, organisations and individuals throughout the U.K. and the European Union.

Our services include language tuition and courses, professional translation and interpreting.
